Products Policy

Refills

ADHD medications are considered 'controlled substances', therefore the rules around prescription refills are more restrictive.

If you've had a visit within the last 3 months, and the refill is only for one medication, you can get it without a visit.

If it's been more than 3 months, and it's only one medication, book a 15 min visit

If it's two or more prescriptions, book a 20 min visit

Receipts

When you book your visit, you automatically get a financial receipt, that will suffice for your accountant.

For insurance, you need both financial and Personal Health information (PHI), which is governed by an online security rule called HIPAA,

HIPAA prohibits us from storing your PHI and your name together. To create a receipt, we have to draw from two databases and combine the data manually. That takes time, and that's why there is a nominal charge.

You can get a receipt from a physio or chiro for free, because it contains no PHI.

                      Forms and Letters Policy

Forms and Letters require quite a bit of thought and formatting. Even a brief letter containing your diagnosis, requires data to be pulled from multiple parts of your chart. Unfortunately, these days there's no such a things as a simple doctor's note. The charge for the form or letter is based on the time it takes to complete. If we've made an error, we are happy to make any corrections, no charge. You can receive a refund if the service has not been provided,
